Dawn Burrell, a venerated Olympian, World Champion Gold Medalist Long-Jumper and Top Chef finalist, and Chris Williams, Lucille’s Houston and Lucille’s Hospitality Group Co-founder, are on a journey to open Late August, an African-American and Japanese fusion restaurant that inhabits a former Sears building.
